Frederick Hazlitt Brennan Papers, 1955-1959

Frederick Hazlitt Brennan (1901-1962) was a rewrite man and political reporter for the (1921-23), a movie critic, feature and editorial writer for the (1923-28), and a scenario writer for Fox Films, MGM, and First National Films (1928-30) before becoming a free lance writer of fiction. In 1955, he became the chief writer of the television series on the ABC network. The collection consists of 184 mimeographed scripts by Brennan for the television show, and four shooting scripts.
